Bunyip State Park

 

Group met at Kangaroo Ground at 9.30 am and travelled to Gembrook, met Graeme and Rita at the Station in Gembrook. We drove along Beenak East Track to the power lines and stopped to let the tyres down. It was cold and started to snow.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

After discussion Donna became Sharkey’s navigator and Brett and Declan went rear door.

 

 If we had followed Donna’s 1’st navigation direction we would have ended up sitting in front of a fire in the pub. (And it was not a bad suggestion)

 

We drove to Blue Ridge Track and followed it to Bunyip Track, very muddy. Graeme had to winch Steve backwards out of a mud hole that Steve slipped into sideways, he found the deepest part, and his vehicle was caught up on the middle ridge going nowhere.
