Community Activities
Our club is very conscious of the environment and community in which we operate. We always seek to enhance the reputation of the Four Wheel Driving fraternity as a whole by performing good deeds whilst having a good time ourselves! Two recent examples include a day trip organised with the Big Brother, Big Sister organisation in which 19 of our 40 strong membership attended. We each took a disadvantaged child and their "minder" in our vehicles for an interesting day trip in the Toolangi State Forrest. This was capped off with a BBQ in the bush and return to the pick-up point.
Wanderin' Four Wheelers also participated in helping farmers who were burnt out by the fires in the North East of the State in January-Feb 2003. Club members helped by removing damaged fencing and erecting new fences enabling the farmers to begin their re-stocking.
