Trips
Day Trips
We aim to run at least one-day trip per month. We generally head to the hills around the Narbethong, Marysville, Toolangi and Mt Disappointment areas. To cater for all members and their weekend commitments, we run some Saturday trips and recently mid-afternoon till midnight runs have been popular.
Weekend Trips
Weekend trips are also planned generally once a month. The trips are conducted in all 4wd areas around the State. Over long weekends particully Easter and Melbourne Cup weekend, some trips venture interstate eg Robe, Big Desert SA/VIC border, NSW Deserts and the NSW High Country. The standard for these trips is mainly medium grade. Some recent trips have established base camps in the Licola or Upper Howqua River regions and day trips in the local area are conducted.

Big Trips
Each year we have big interstate trips. Over the past years there has been a 2-week to Central Australia trip including crossing the Simpson Desert, two 8-week trips to Broom - Kimberley's - Kakadu & Queensland Gulf country, and a 6-week trip following the Canning Stock Route. Wanderin' also has a Sister club in Tasmania and coordinated trips have occurred in Vic & Tassie with great success. They are usually held over school holidays with extensions where necessary.

Standard of Trips
The degree of difficulty is always well advertised in the club magazine "The Wanderer". This is very important for ensuring participants enjoyment. We aim to provide a mix of medium grade and more difficult trips. We conduct some easy trips each year particully where places of interest are the main attraction and for new members after their first taste of the "off roading experience". Some activities like an Observation Rally and Country Pub Meal held last May was a huge success.
